Students interested in attending CREC Schools apply through the Regional School Choice Office. RSCO serves Hartford and suburban students who are interested in public school choice options in the Greater Hartford Region. Its staff provides parents and students with the information needed to explore their options and guide their decisions.

Using a common RSCO application, applicants for CREC schools and other inter-district magnet, charter, and regional programs, rank up to five school choice options for the annual lottery each February. The office maintains a waiting list for a second round of admissions in the spring.
